Renee Gorrell

CEO & President

Renee's outgoing personality and background in programming give her the ability to get down to business and have fun while doing so. She oversees the marketing and sales teams, as well as supply-chain management.

She consistently challenges the CSE team to collaborate and stay on the cutting edge, and loves playing with and learning from the latest in technology.

Lara Aaron

Vice President

Lara has a background in quality assurance and a knack for numbers. She has a rare blend of technical and business strength, and leads CSE's employee management training.

She is an avid reader and student of business and leadership books, and is always quick to recommend and give away copies to inspire and encourage her team members.

CSE Software® is a privately held company founded in 1990, located in the Peoria Innovation District. CSE has been developing software, hardware and creating technology solutions for more than 30 years. CSE has experience in multiple industries, including government, military, healthcare, construction, agriculture, mining and more. Co-owners Lara Aaron and Renee Gorrell are heavily involved in the day-to-day running of the certified women-owned business.

Our Management Team

Christy Beiermann

Director of Talent Management / HR

Christy started at CSE in 1998 as a support analyst in the Help Desk department. She works hard to guard and guide the culture of CSE, turns the lights on in the office every morning, and puts up with a lot of childish antics from the development team.

Andy Grabenstetter

Director of Software Development

Andy began his career at CSE in 2005 as a Quality Assurance analyst. With unmatched attention to detail and valuable insight, Andy knows just about everything there is to know about every project at CSE. He oversees a portion of the software development team. Some may say his beard goes too far. We disagree.

Andrea Lusher

Director of Project Management & Support Services

Andrea started at CSE in 2003 as a support analyst in the Help Desk department. She currently leads the Help Desk team, manages large accounts, and secretly dreams of becoming a rapper with the stage name of "Lil AJ".

Nick Mishler

Director of IT & Facilities Management

He keeps our servers, networks, and buildings running smoothly. In his spare time you can find him competing in garden tractor pulls (he is a champion); or scaling something of great height.

Our Founder

Ken Pflederer

Founder

CSE Software™ was founded in 1990 by Ken Pflederer. He quickly moved from a single employee conducting computer training, to adding employees, software development and many other services over the years. Ken’s philosophy on business led to the company’s growth and success since then. Ken retired in January 2020. The vision and values he laid out—and his passion for keeping CSE a company that cares for its employees and clients—continues on in the passion of his leaders and teams.
