Mobile Development Process

Define

  • Development team learns the customer needs and gathers project requirements, including targeted devices, platforms, and audience.
  • CSE works with subject matter to present solutions appropriate for the targeted platform, as well as a rough order of magnitude to estimate the effort.

Design

  • The design team develops UI / UX mockups and wireframes.
  • The application workflow is defined and an interactive prototype may be developed for client approval.
  • Once all functionality and design is determined, a full quote is developed.

Develop

  • Application programming begins. Development milestones are established, allowing customers to provide input and approval throughout the entire development lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance testing takes place iteratively as each milestone is reached.

Deploy

  • The application is thoroughly tested by CSE's Quality Assurance team on all targeted platforms, devices, and configurations.
  • SMEs and stakeholders are provided beta access to the application for User Acceptance Testing and approval of the final product.
  • The software is deployed to the appropriate marketplace or web server (Apple App Store, Google Play, Windows Store, etc.).
