Training Development

Training has been in the DNA of CSE Software® since 1990.  CSE was originally founded as a computer training company, called Computer Skills Enhancement.  While we have condensed our name, we never lost our focus on using the latest technology to help our clients meet their learning needs.

Our team is experienced in developing a wide variety of training products on multiple platforms.  Our projects range from xAPI and SCORM compliant web based training for LMS integration to AR/VR experiences, custom mobile applications, software simulation, medical device simulators, and full scale heavy equipment simulators.

CSE is able to play whatever role necessary for a training project, including audience analysis, instructional design, SOP development, script writing, multimedia design and development, mobile app development, LMS integration, and more.

Training Development Process

While our role in training products can vary depending on the project needs, we typically follow the ADDIE model for instructional design and development.

Analyze

  • Account manager, project manager, and instructional designer work with customer and SMEs to define requirements.
  • Team works together identifying needs, target audience, team roles, and deployment requirements.

Design

  • CSE and customer team define learning objectives.
  • Content and assessment strategies are determined.

Develop

  • Mockups, prototypes, and scripts are developed and reviewed by stakeholders.
  • Course media and content are developed.
  • Quality Assurance testing takes place iteratively as each milestone is reached.

Implement

  • Training is deployed to instructors or learners in target platform (i.e. LMS, mobile app marketplace, etc.)

Evaluate

  • Provide formative and summative assessments for users and instructors.
  • Review results as compared to identified learning objectives.
